More Things to Think About

Why is the US willing to spend billions to bail out Wall Street and fight War in Iraq but they won't spend millions on medical insurance to bailout their education system? Or why will Americans spend hundreds on Super Bowl Tickets yet not be willing to pay to feed the homeless? Why are they so willing to throw out the old star and cheer for the newpro? I don't know the answer, and I know not all Americans are like this, but I think the generalizations are fairly accurate. Is it about greed, instant gratification, or something else?
